The Society's Mission


The T’ang Studies Society is dedicated to promoting the study and understanding of the Tang period in East Asia by encouraging activities for all interested persons. It provides a channel of communication for those studying the Tang to facilitate the exchange of ideas and scholarly cooperation in this field. The Society publishes the academic journal Tang Studies to disseminate scholarship in support of its scholarly and educational purposes.
