2021 Annual Meeting
The T'ang Studies Society's Annual Meeting is tentatively scheduled to take place at the Association for Asian Studies Annual Meeting in Seattle.

SOCIETY RESEARCH GRANTS
With generous support from the Tang Research Foundation, the T’ang Studies Society is pleased to announce funding for grants to support research of society members in any discipline on the Tang dynasty in a broad geographical and chronological scope. The grant can support various types of expenses that arise during research including travel, book purchases, graduate assistants, and databases fees.

T'ANG STUDIES SOCIETY PANEL SPONSORSHIPS AT AAS
The T’ang Studies Society is happy to announce that it will once again offer sponsorship for one or more deserving panels that addresses topics related to the study of the Tang dynasty at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Association for Asian Studies currently planned for Seattle, WA. This grant is intended to defray some of the costs of society members presenting Tang-relevant research at the AAS Annual Meeting, including travel and registration expenses. Funding levels are determined during the review process. Scholars at any stage of their careers are eligible.
Note that AAS has recently removed the panel sponsorship option from its panel proposal form. In line with that, the Society will entertain panel sponsorship applications AFTER panels have been accepted for inclusion in the AAS Annual Meeting program.
APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED: October 30, 2020. Recipients will be notified by November 30, 2020.

The T'ang Studies Society is proud to contribute
to a conference honoring the late Tang scholar, Antonino Forte, to be held at University of Naples
in autumn 2020.
Membership dues include a subscription to the Society's journal Tang Studies as well as eligibility to participate in Society sponsored events. More information on the benefits of membership and dues payment options is available on the Membership page.
Current dues rates are as follows:
• Individual Memberships: $35
• Student Memberships: $20
As a result of the Society's publication
