Membership


The T'ang Studies Society is an international group of scholars interested in the Tang dynasty. We have members from the United States, Canada, Australia, and numerous countries across Europe and Asia. 

 

Individual Membership/Subscription:

  

    Regular Membership: $35 per year

 

    Student Memberships: $20 per year

 

It is possible to pay dues for multiple years (see below for payment options).

 

Life Membership:

 

Individuals who would like to purchase a life membership may do so by paying the one-time Life Membership Fee. The Board of Directors of the T'ang Studies Society has set the Life Membership Fee at twenty times the stipulated regular annual membership.

 

As of November 2016, the one-time Life Membership Fee is $700.

All members enjoy the following benefits:

 

  • Receipt of the Society's peer-reviewed journal Tang Studies
  • Online access to the full-run of Tang Studies (formerly T'ang Studies). Current Members may access the journal online by clicking: HERE
  • The right to vote in Society elections
  • All communications from the Society
  • Eligibility to participate in the programs organized by the Society

 

Payment of Membership Dues:

 

The Society currently has two ways for members to pay their dues.

 

Check: Members may pay their dues by check paid to the order of "The T'ang Studies Society." If you are a new member or your contact information has changed, please also complete the Membership Application.

For international memberships, we regret that, due to US banking regulations, we are unable to accept checks or money orders drawn on non-US banks. You must obtain a foreign draft in US dollars drawn on a US bank, or you may use our online payment system below (the preferred method for international transactions).
